A wish fulfilled ♥

Welcome!

Heyyo! You must be wondering why is there a picture of a door above, well, IT'S THE DOOR TO MY OWN ROOM! Likeafinallllyy I get to have my own room ♥_♥ My dad and I have been busy cleaning up the house and clearing things out of this room for dayyss and it was pretty tiring gosh although it feels shiok to throw stuff away :b Yesterday the room was finally done with everything placed inside and I felt really excited XDD Okayy without further ado, let's get inside and take a look!

This would be the first thing you'll see when you open the door. It isn't the prettiest room but to me it's still lovely and I lurve it ♥

This bed was gotten at some furniture mall beside IMM. It is really comfy and nice to sleep in! I had a good sleep last night :b Andand I've always wanted to hang a dreamcatcher above my bed and now I'm able to! \o/ Oh, the dreamcatcher was given to me from my aunt who bought it from Thailand. It's made of real leather O_O

This bedside table and lamp were both brought back from IKEA. This table is what I love most about my room ♥ It's something I really wanted to have in my own room once I have one. And it caught my eye the first time I went to IKEA in my previous post but didn't get it. Went to bring it home the second time hehe ♥ I placed my TEENAGE magazines and my storybooks underneath it.

This is my study table! :D It was gotten from IKEA as well. The good thing about this table is that it's able to adjust the height which is perfect for my room due to the odd height of that hole there T__T The blue drawer at the side is really ugly but I have no choice :/ My house has no more space to put that drawer so yup, it's residing in my room now.

Last but not least, this corner of the room! The fan was bought like just yesterday from Harvey Norman O__O The cupboard is just storing both me and my brother's books as well as my mum's stuff. Alssooo, look at that posterrrr!! ♥ GD&TOP yo! Kyaa ♥ I've always wanted to put up posters in my room as well :bb Hahaha many of my wishes were fulfilled upon getting this room! hehe ♥

Well, that's the end of my room tour! The people I'm really really grateful to are my parents. They're the ones who made this wish of mine possible. My mum forked out the money and my dad did all the hard labour of cleaning the room, carrying the heavy furniture back and moving the heavy furniture in the house around. Love u guys ♥

A Trip To IKEA

Well hello there :D It has been quite a long time since my last post :o Sorry! There was nothing much going on and I was well, lazy :b And so, today's gonna be a short post(?) on my trip to IKEA yesterday!

It has been a reeaalllyyy long time since I last stepped into IKEA, the last time was around Primary6? Anyways we went to IKEA yesterday to get my study table! \o/ My parents have finally agreed to give me my very own room! /Pops confetti/ YAY HAHA. My whole family was strolling through the store trying to find a study table that will best fit the measurements of the room.

-Sidetrack- It was a headache planning what to get and where to place the furniture in the room bcuz of the way the room was designed is really UGHHH

Anywayss, I swear I love how IKEA design their bedrooms, kitchen and living/dining room! They're damn beautiful!!! Gosh ♡ We finally decided on the study table and went off for an early dinner first at 5pm. Thank god we went early, the queue was so long by 530pm! Tbh there wasn't much selection of food :/ So we ordered 12pcs of chicken wings (hey don't judge!), 15pcs of meatballs, 2slices of garlic bread and a small plate of pasta for my little bro. My dad loves the chicken wings from IKEA haha. I really hate how other people were staring at us cuz we ordered 12pcs of chicken wings T.T It's just like KFC ok, mind your own business and eat your own food.

After a really satisfying and full dinz, we went to take a stroll around again and finally, we ordered the table, got 2 small cushions and a lamp shade :D It was hard trying to get the table to fit into the taxi tho T.T Thank god we didn't buy the bigger one if not idk how we're gonna get home._.

I really enjoyed and cherished time spent with my family, we hardly go out tgt except on sundays. Ok that's it for today bye!

Ah leng 哥哥 's wedding

Yesterday, I woke up early to head to my aunt's house to wait for the groom to 接 the bride over. It was a rare chance for all the cousins to meet up and it was super fun! The bride looked gorgeous yesterdayy. So the whole morning was just the couple 敬茶 to the elders and the juniors 敬茶 to them for red packets :b ( that's not the point ) We then had a lunch buffet there before we all went home to rest and get ready for the night.

So last night, I attended ah leng 哥哥 's wedding! He and his bride were super good looking yesterday (Y)
Some of us reached early to witness them going through the engagement process and making their vows for each other ♥ The old guy was pretty naggy but nvm :b After it ended, there was a cocktail party and there were some really nice pastries.

There was a photobooth there and omg it seems like it's our entire family who took so many photos xD It was a super hilarioys moment HAHA my aunts and uncles were damn funny! My cousins were super hilarious and sporting as well xDD oh my gosh lmao xD Really glad to have them as my cousins, it's hard to have such close cousins ♥

The food served was delicious! There were around 3 dishes that has abalone in them O-O Yum! The bride and groom were also going around to the tables to take pictures with everybody and it was finally our turn ^~^

The night went on with a few more dishes and ended at 11. We bid farewell to the bride amd groom and their parents and headed home. I was sad not being able to have much interaction with the newly wed couple :( Hope that they'll have a blissful marriage, grow old together and have babies soon yo! It was a really enjoyable night catching up with my cousins and hopefully we'll have as much fun next month during hongzhen 姐姐 's wedding as well ^__^

Day Out With SZB ♥

Heyyo! Hehe :b So I met up with le best couzzie yesterday~~ I've not seen her for so loong goshh, the last time we met was probably 1 month ago. 1 month might not be long for some of you, but it's long for me cuz usually I'll see her every 1/2 weeks.

ANYWAYS, we went out shopping together yesterday~ Our first stop was Vivo City cuz this woman wants to buy phone covers for her new chio phone. We went into Cotton On right after and we were just looking through the clothes and we saw these clothes that was sold at 2 for $25! She caught her eye on this white moustache shirt while I had my eyes on this grey anchor shirt. It's so soft and comfortable!! :O And yeap, we bought them.

Next up, we went to a couple more stores to hunt for clothes that she wants to wear on Saturday for our cousin's wedding. Sadly, many of the clothes are either not suitable for our age, too big or too expensive. Our feet were hurting by then and thus, we went down to B2 for lunch. We had Subway! We both ate the Italian B.M.T. cuz I have no idea what I want to have and she recommended that. It was delicious omgg, the sauce was so nicee. I think it was sweet onion sauce and mayonnaise?

Then, we went up to buy Starbucks ~ ♥ I was totally craving for Java Chip Frap ever since I went out with my dancers a few months ago and Cheryl was drinking that so I had a sip. It was so good and I wanted to have one for myself but I always couldn't bring myself to buy cuz it was so expensive :( but I bought it yesterday and my heart was definitely aching ( it was $6.60 for tall which was the smallest size ) It was worth it though ♥ Ying bought the Chocolate Chip Frap, tall as well but hers was $6.20. She added whip cream in which I didn't cuz I don't like whip cream plus it's fattening yo. 

In case you're wondering how does it taste like: Java Chip has a pretty strong coffee taste but it isn't that overwhelming and has some crushed chips (?) in it which was what I love about this drink cuz it just gave it more texture, while the Chocolate Chip taste chocolaty i guess? and it has crushed chips too :>

Next up, we head to Tiong Bahru Market to find this shop that, according to ying, sells pretty clothes with a sort of vintage feel to it. But it wasn't open!! :( wasted trip.. So we took the bus back to Tiong Bahru MRT Station and took the train all the way to Bugis~ We went into a lot of shops and there were a lot of pretty clothes!! But sadly, because ying is pretty skinny, the dresses can't fit her :(

After much hunting, we saw this super lovely white lace detailed skirt! :D But we were pretty troubled over what kind of shirts could match it for the wedding becauuse it cannot be too casual looking. So we went about searching for more dresses and shirts that might suit the skirt. We searched the whole of Bugis Junction and Bugis+ but we still can't find it :( We were pretty disheartened but ying decided to go back to the first shop we went into in Bugis Junction to look for shirts. Finally! We found this sheer pink, short sleeved blouse that we believed can match the lace skirt. So she bought it and we went back to the other shop to purchase the skirt ~ They were a bit expensive but oh wells~ What matters is she likes it and that she finally has an outfit for Saturday!

We were pretty much done but we decided to go to Bugis Street to walk anyways. And omg, was I glad to go there! I FOUND THIS PRETTY PAIR OF SANDALS THAT I WAS HUNTING FORR ♥ Its design reminds me of something that actresses in movies will wear to the beach lol. This baby was for $21.90 which was on the pricey side for a pair of sandals but the shop owner claimed that it was sold for $23/24 outside ( although I'm not sure whether she can be trusted... ) But nevermind, it can be my first time paying for an expensive pair of sandals :/ AND IT'S COMFYY. I do hope that it'll be comfortable to wear to walk for long distances though ( please don't disappoint me :{ ) We then tried covering the rest of the levels but we were too tired and were pretty sick of Bugis Street already ( I've went there far too many times... ) It was also getting late so we headed back. We took the train back home and ying alighted much earlier than me :( I don't want to part with her... ( sound like a couple man ) and it was so lonely on the journey back.

The thing about MRTs during peak hours is that you'll probably never be able to get a seat T.T I stood for lik 50 minutes ugh! That feeling when I'm finally able to sit down on the bus /holy light/

Haha :b Yesterday was definitely a day well-spent and I am so satisfied with my buys :3 Okie that's the end of my super duper long post, buai!

Outing With The Besties ♥

Hey peeps! So, today marks the end of my EOY exams! not officially but still /pops confetti/ And to celebrate, my besties and I decided to go out shopping together!!! It's sooo rare for all 3 of us to go out together but yay we went out today! We all decided to wear a bit more 'atas' and headed for West Mall at Bukit Batok. We went to some japanese shop which soph recommended for lunch. I had Ebi Tamago Don (?) which means shrimp and egg rice. IT WAS SOO GOOD I SWEAR O-O

Then, we bought some drinks and took the mrt to Jurong Point in Boon Lay. We started from the top level all the way down. Seriously, we spent 90% of the time there going into shops, just looking through and not buying anything XD We went this shop that has boxes which looks just like Hako in Jcube. There was this super chio contact lens case O-Obut I didn't buy it :( Ki bought this small, squishy blue bunny which just makes you super happy when u squish it ♥_♥ After popping in and out of many shops later, we went into Rubi. There was this bag I caught my eye on but I didn't buy either. Soph wanted these 2 pair of shoes but she didn't have the money haish. But we each bought this bracelet for $1 which was for charity (hopefully), yay 'bestie bracelet' ! We bought different designs though but ~

After more walking, we went into Crystals 'N' Beads and bought the materials needed to make braided bracelets~

We were super exhausted from the walking and headed back to Lot One. We bought some food and went up to the Roof Garden to rest. After getting our rest, we went to I ♥ Accessories and I saw this super chio ribbon clip omgg but it's so expensive :( so I didn't get it either (seems like I eyed on many stuffs but didn't buy.__. mum I'm helping you to save money, be proud). Lastly, we went to Aries and chat for awhile before we ended our day ^__^ It feels so good to not be stuck at home burying my head in books and studying and instead, spending the day hanging out with them :D It was definitely a day well spent ♥ Hopefully we'll do this more often hehe!

Like A Finally

Omg it's been so long since I blogged .___. Blame it on my busy schedule: all that homework and exams goshh. So there's one more paper left an I'm done! \o/ Well there's still LC after Amaths paper but who cares ~
Gosh it has been a reallyyy intense week of studying @__@ Despite that, I still think I was not as prepared for the exams this time round compared to my previous exams :(( Remind me not to study only the day before exams again ughh. The papers that really killed me were chemistry, history p2 and emaths p2 (both were taken today) gosh :( I feel so angry at myself. It's like...I'm sure I didn't study hard enough / prepare well enough for my chemistry and history papers :( History I didn't have time to study all so I had to spot BUT WHY, WHY ONLY THOSE I NEVER STUDIED COMES OUT. BOTH OF THE SEQ QNS SOMEMORE WHY TT TT
I think I've really let Mrs Ram down :( Gonna really have to work harder this holiday to catch up on my studies to prepare myself for next year. After blogging, I'm gonna study hard for amaths to make up for my screwed up emath paper. Gosh I can't believe I made such careless mistakes... i wanna kill myself. LOST SO MANY MARKS AHHHH
Okay on a lighter note, yay! Eoy is coming to an end soon and I can relax!! So excited for the plans I'm gonna have during the hols (hope I don't fail any subjects so I need not study for re-exam :{ )  Miss my cousins soooo sooo much!! I'm gonna see them next week yayyy!! I wanna go shopping and hang out with my friends and there are so many things I wanna do :>> Maybe I will make a list or something. Despite not blogging for so long, I still do write in my diary so ya #justsaying
This year passed too fast like s.e.r.i.o.u.s.l.y. I'm still not even used to being a sec 3 and being in 2013 D8 2 more months to 2014 and being a sec 4, around 4 more months before the next batch of sec 1s for dance joins, 8 more months left in KMDC, slightly more than 12months and I'll graduate. Everything's zooming by, really have to cherish the present things before they're gone like secondary school friends. Altho secondary school friends are more likely to meet up together in the future, but the close friends you have now might be a stranger with memories in the future. That's just sad man like really :/ Ok why am I so emotional in this post._. Okay anyways I"ll try my best to blog more often and constantly so ya :> Toodles! And have a great weekend peeps ^__^

Hie guys! So i bought a new book recently called the "Firefly Lane" by Kristin Hannah. It has been quite a long time since i've bought a book and read one due to the overwhelming homework and exams T__T This book first caught my eyes due to its cover. the cover is really stunning and when i read the summary at the back, i was captivated by it. It was about these 2 best friends that met when they were teenagers and stuck by each other through the ups and downs for more than 30 years. They were known as TullyandKate or the Firefly Lane girls and they were inseparable. Tully was a woman with great ambitions and worked towards her career while all Katy wanted was to fall in love and have a family. After more than 30 years, their friendship were on the rocks due to a betrayal which puts their friendship to the ultimate test. What really makes me love this story probably was because of the memories they shared together since a teenager and when they do flashbacks to the first day they became friends, it just makes me tear (imma sucker for flashbacks, i love these kind of shit so ya ;-;) I'm someone who does really suckish summaries and i always make movies or books sound really less interesting than it really is. So, just grab one and read it for yourself and maybe you'll understand :D It's the first book that ever make me tear while reading ;____;

When i was much younger, i looovveee reading books. I can't emphasise enough haha XD I can spend a whole day reading many books (probably explains the high degree of my specs now) Whenever i went on a learning journey i would bring a book along and when i read, i hate people interrupting me so my friend complains that it was so boring sitting beside me otw to the destination when i'm with a book (oops) When i was a kid, i loved Enid Blyton books, Mr Midnight (but i never dared to read it at night, even now) and the Famous Five. The Famous Five books are really interesting as they talk about the adventures and mystery they had. ok... i sound like a nerd haha XDD This post will probably sound really boring to those who don't like reading books :b But hey! You should try reading, stories are really interesting! To me, it creates another dimension into the story world where i imagined the story playing like a movie. the stories makes me envious of the life the characters lived, it seemed so much more interesting than mine :/

Last weekk

....nahh gonna continue abit more :b so i shall share what happned last week! on 7 august, a wednesday, we celebrated the Leaders' Day and National Day :> ALOT OF MY FRIENDS BECAME LEADERS AND I FELT SO PROUD OF THEM. seeing them up there on the parade square and their seniors passing down their roles and duties down to them was such a magical feeling! it made me realise again that my seniors are actually leaving soon and i'm gonna be a sec4 soon.. NO THIS IS TOO FAST. I'LL MISS MY SENIORS :( THEY CAN'T GO YETT :(( damn... time flew by too fast this year and in fact these 2, nearing 3, years :( anyways, although i felt realllyy proud seeing my friends all becoming leaders, i felt kinda sad and well, inferior. all of them are gonna become great role models, having an extraordinary life ahead of them while i'm just being a normal student, incapable. although i don't have aspirations to become a leader, it just makes me feel like i suck... enough of me, congratulations to those who took up leadership roles, i'll be looking up to u guys ^^ andand the NCC freestyle was so good!! they so shuai HAHA. actually all the guys from uniform groups were so handsome that day hehe. all the uniform groups marching that day and band who played the music, good job! /claps/ after NCC performance we went up to the hall due to bad weather. videos made with the theme of national day songs were awesome! (cept the particular sec1 class who sang for their video...sorry but my ears hurt from your singing...) the sec4s were really enthu about it and the videos by them were really really awesomeeee. but almost like 80% of the videos made used 'Reach Out For The Skies'... i was so sick of that song when the day ended T_T i wanted to sing along to the national day songs but i had a sore throat so... :(( oh and choir good job for the singing!

annnnddd i bought the new flavoured Oreos!! FINALLY ♥ it's sooo niceee, the sprinkles inside the creme is aguhuejbr /burst of happiness/♥♥♥

After Examsss

Sorry I didn't put up a new post last friday! I had to revise for my other subjects which finished yesterday. YESHH COMMON TEST 2 ISH OVERRR. I felt like this ct I wasn't very prepared and I think I'm gonna do pretty badly :( ct is like the easier exam to score in but I always screw it up... Hopefully I'll pass ALL my subjects and get good marks for maths (at least maths pleaseee) So right after ct, teachers bombed us with hw /claps/ I'll have to get started after writing this post.

So.... what happened yesterday? Well yesterday's recess was a disaster for both me and niki /sobs/ What happened was this: so ki went to chop the table while I helped her to buy food and when I came back to put them down, my hand and wallet kena the birdshit on the table WHICH I DIDN'T NOTICE TT TT it was goddamn disgusting ugh!! So when I went to wash my hands, soph went to help me buy drinks and ki offered me her fruit punch which I rejected. When she put it back, she accidentally hit until it and it spilled all over her skirt, shoes and the table which also kena soph's wallet and NYAA booklet. It was the most terrible recess ever and all this happened in 30 mins T__T During the evening, my dad and I went to bpp supposedly to take my ic photo but we realised the shop had moved so we had to head to lot instead. I was wearing the school blouse + home shorts... heng nobody I knew saw me yesterday. I felt that the ic photo i took was actually ok and was slighty better than the one I took in school but everybody else thought otherwise :(( BUT I WAS WEARING MY OLD SPECS AND I LOOKED NOOBISH IN THE IC PHOTO TAKEN IN SCHOOL. HMPH :< (dc, gonna use the one I took yesterday)
I'M EXCITED FOR THE WEEKENDS HEHE. CAN FINALLY SEE MY COUSINS ON SUNDAY AFTER SO LONG ^__^ andand I'm gonna get a Jansport bag with ying ♥ (couple bags yo chey) and I changed my wallet cuz it spoiled :( so I'm using the new wallet which is my birthday present! :> and I got my new calculator hehe (I sound like a nerd) YAY SO MANY NEW STUFFIES \o/
oh and just noww soph's mum treated me to lunch.. me,soph and her mum went sakae... gosh i feel so bad ;-; but it was so nice of herr ♥

not a good thurday&friday :/

so yesterday after recess time i became very feverish :( i had flu the night before and it worsened yesterday. man, it was tough trying to concentrate on studies with the fever D; it was touching to see that my friends were being so concerned about me :') (and it was niki's birthday yesterdayy) but it was kinda embarrassing when biyu came to look for me when i went to the toilet cuz they were worried that i fainted >< but ommgg idw the whole class to know la :( it's like i felt that i was seen as making a huge fuss :( so after nyaa briefing i felt really, really weak and feverish, so i skipped AMC (yesss).and i felt scared when i can't reach anybody on the phone. by the time i reached home, i jus wanna lie on the bed and sleep. but i took panadol and bathed. when i bathed out my dad reached home and brought me to plaza to see the doc. after reaching home i took a nap until 7 and tried to study, hoping i can go for the history exam today. unfortunately my sickness got the better of me and i kept dozing off when studying so i turned in early. during the night my mum probably stayed up til late to take care of me :( (sorry mum and dad, i made u two worry even more right after wei's sickness...really thankful and i love u two very much even tho i have no courage to tell u guys in the face..) so i spent today studying for my history exam which was postponed to next tuesday, hope that it'll be easy :( so im gonna continue studying for my exams now. buai !

Lonely Sunday

Hiee, happy Sunday peopo! :D supposedly Sunday is my family day in which we'll go to my (maternal side) grandparents house. But... for today and last wk....I'm alone at home..;-; hope my brother will get well soon, he has been sick for like 3wks+? And hospitalised for around a week now. :( so now I'm here blogging in the morning eating my breakfast. The bread's rly good :O anyways so after breakfast I'll have to finish the rest of my hw and hopefully revise (exams are cominnngg fkkk). Dhen I'm prolly gonna eat the gigantic bread for lunch and canned soup for dinz (what happens when u can't cook..)

AND I'M LIKE NXKSJKDS FK THIS SHIT I'M NOT GOING. I'm going to go visit my bro!:< (seems like the piggies had fun ytd tho :( ) So I went to KK and I saw my bro's stitches...;( ouchhh.And the food doesn't look appetising at all.. Alot of our relatives went to visit him and gave him prezziess. And the kids there are rly noisy gosh. Hopefully he can be discharge on Mon:)

Sooo hieee, this is my first blog postt! My eng is probably gonna be pretty much broken but ohwell. It has been quite a long time since I used a blog :O Personally, I feel that a blog is pretty much like my diary just that it can actually be viewed by everybody out there.__. I used to think that it's kinda stupid to be sharing your personal stuffs with strangers out there but now, I think it's kinda cool although i have reservations about it. :/ Anyways, I will try to update this blog every Friday if I could and I shall see whether it's actually gonna last cuz I would normally stop doing these kind of things after at most 1-2 weeks :bb Oh and plus my exams are gonna start the week after so I might not be updating during that period (ughhhh studddiiess) And to warn u, u would probably be seeing alot of fangirling, rants about people, my insecurity blablabla, so yaaa :> kay buaiiii
