Friday the 13th

Although it's Friday the 13th, it has been a very very good day!!!


Firstly, it's TGIF.

Secondly, there's only Chapel, 2 career talks and maths lecture today. Felt a bit sad for the 2 guys as not many people were listening to them talk tbh. HX, Sarah, Mer, Joel and I just played Hangman (yes don't judge, that's what we could do to get rid of boredom haha). Found out that Joel played TsumTsum too weee!! And chatted with him on some games that we both played before haha. Had a break before the lecture so we 4 just went to the fake grass patch to play some UNO. Math lecture ended at 12pm (though we had to wait for Sarah for the SL briefing as we played Monopoly Deal till 1pm).

Thirdly, we went to 18Chefs for lunch!!!! Ermaigerd, we were starving, we reached there at like 1.30pm and only ate at 1.45pm? BUT the wait was soooo worth it!!! Us girls each orderd a Be Your Own Chef. Mine's Japanese Curry with Chicken Sausage Baked Rice; Mer's was Black Pepper Sauce with Chicken Sausage Baked Rice; Sarah's was Creamy White Sauce with Chicken Sausage Baked Rice; HX had a Beef Burger that comes with potato wedges. The cheese was so good, all melty and stringy ♡ It goes quite well with the Japanese curry!!! It was damn good, all of the rice was coated with the curry and covered in cheeseeee ♡ The Iced Lemon Tea was kinda diluted though imo :/ Didn't eat the chocolate ice cream :x (sorry I wasted food haha) All these just for $6.40 hehe nomz (not exactly very cheap la but still pretty affordable)

After lunch, we all just walked around. HX went to find his mum as us girls went into H&M and looked around. I'm surprised HX could find us after that in a short time hahaa. After H&M, we walked into CottonOn, Converse, Swensen, into Courts and finally into FairPriceXtra to look around at the snacks etc since HX and Mer still had quite some time before they need to go back to school for CCA (HAHAHAH Sarah and I can go home :bb) We 4 forever going out to eat sia I swear HAHHAHA, it was a good time spent hehe although there was really nothing much to do haha.

Fourthly. after I left Sarah and alighted the train, I suddenly spotted a girl carrying a bright orange and red bag. I immediately thought "omg is that ki" and ran towards her. AND YES IT IS HEHEH SO COINCIDENTAL ^___^ I was so happy ehhe. Chatted with her as we took the red line and I didn't even realise it reached ki's stop and she had to alight :(( mehh sigh hope to see ki again soon.

Fifthly (I don't think there's such a word but oh well haha), I got to board a double decker bus and managed to sit at the upper deck's front window seat (my favourite seat ♡)

And yeap that's all so far, now I need to go and bathe, then get started on studying ohmytian.

Del's birthday

Quick (?) overview of what happened on weds night:

Rushed home after dance to bathe before heading out to meet ster (supposed to meet at bpp to buy balloons but apparently yt got nicer ones so we went there instead). Met pua at the MRT platform before heading to yt. Bought a red star balloon while waiting for pua to decide what to get for her friend's birthday who happens to be the same as del's HAHHAH.

We then proceeded to attempt to walk to her house based on memory (I just followed them as I can't remember the way to get there oops :b) and managed to find her unit after walking a big round around the blocks though hahah.

We stayed in her room and chatted while waiting for her to get home. Omg del took so long tsktsk, had to communicate through zakiah to know her whereabouts haha thanks zakiah!!! Pua and I got very jumpy (?) as ster kept opening the door suddenly and scaring us, we thought del came home HAHAH. And when I was lying on the bed, ster was standing near the bedroom door and pua was sitting by the chair while we talked, we finally heard her opening the front door. That split second was DAMN funny as we scrambled up, turned off the light and hurriedly lit the candle HAHAH

Del cut a slice of the cake and we all shared that slice. Pua's first layered cake siaa hahah the chocolate cake is really very very nice!!! #chefpua eheh 

We stayed till 12am, sang song, bid farewell and finally chionged to the MRT station/bus-stop to go home.

It was a tiring night but was really happy to see them buiz again and seeing del's happy face hehe ♡ Hoping to catch up soon and chat more ^___^

Dim Sum outing!!!

Hello there haha, yup here's another post up!!


Finally managed to pull myself out of bed at 7.15am and went for a jog at 7.38am. It has been so so long since I went for a jog :// Surprisingly, I took 30mins to complete the usual route :oo Came back home to stretch and cool down, sort out some stuff and bathed.  Headed out of the house at 10.10am to make my way to Chinatown to meet HX and Sarah for dim sum brunch :> Apparently, HX waited at the mrt station since 10am HAAHAHHA oops.

Both Sarah and I just followed HX around because we don't know where's the dimsum place. We doubted him though because we walked to the end of the street but still didn't see the restaurant/shop. Apparently, we walked past it without noticing LOL.

It's a Hong Kong Dim Sum place called Tak Po. We ordered (I'll try to name all of them): custard buns, egg tarts, char siew pies, pan fried carrot cake, prawn in beancurd skin, har mai, siew mai, chee cheong fun with char siew, har gao, crystal chives dumplings, teochew dumplings, beancurd skin rolls in oyster sauce and chrysanthemum tea.

We didn't know there existed har mai (prawn siew mai) haha but they were quite nice ah, got like 2-3 prawns inside!! (those smaller ones la hahah) The 3 various crystal dumplings were not bad too!! (I think I prefer the chives dumpling over the teochew one though because the teochew one tasted like it has chopped radish/water chestnut which tasted kind of out of place in the dumplings imo) The prawn in beancurd skin was basically fried beancurd skin that has prawn inside and it came with a mayonnaise(?) dip. It was okay, I found it too oily though. I didn't eat the carrot cake. The chee cheong fun was not bad, the skin wasn't too thick.

Oh the egg tart was my favourite!!!! The tart was super flaky and has a nice buttery aroma (am I supposed to describe it this way?? hahaa) and the egg part was soft and smooth ♡_♡ damnn nice!!!

Shared the char siew pie with Sarah and I was proud of my cutting skills AHAHHA managed to cut the triangle into almost exactly half woots. I found it a bit too heavy for me though, the pastry crust kind of too buttery tasting for me :/ The tea helped to get rid of that feeling though. Oh the first cup of tea was super tasteless but after that finally tasted the chrysanthemum haha.

From the night before, when Sarah asked if I wanted to go for dimsum, I was soo looking forward to trying custard buns (流沙包). I have never tried them before and it looked so good on insta when I see the custard flowing out omgg. But this place ruined my virgin try at that :ccc The custard was overcooked so it was just a solid lump there PLUS it's green in colour (???) which we guess was pandan flavoured. I was damn sad :cc

My hopes were abit crushed :c HX suggested going to the dimsum stall at the end of the street to try another custard bun instead. I was abit relunctant as I doubted the quality of the buns that are from the street stall. It was 3 Charcoal Custard Salted Egg Yolk buns for $5.90 (ex sobs) but I was so so glad that we tried?? Because the custard was super flowy and was damn nice!!!! Omg the salted egg custard was savory, hot and melty (everything that are warm and melty are always nice ie cheese ♡) and the buns are soft~~ Sorry if my descriptions suck haah

My cravings super satisfied after that bun omg yumzzz thanks HX ahaha. Today I found out that dim sum costs a bomb man... the total cost from Tak Po plus this bun was like around $15.60 per person sobs ;__;

It was still pretty early (around 12.40pm) and we had absolutely nothing to do hahah. HX wanted to go to the board games cafe which only opens at 2pm so we just sat there and chatted about random stuffs like guessing HX's brothers' and cousins' names (they all contain a ''huai" haha) We left at around 1.30pm and travelled by mrt to Dhoby Ghaut.

[side-track] As we were on the way there to the cafe, we walked past this korean bbq restaurant called I'm Kim, Korean BBQ. As I walked past the window, I saw something and backtracked. It was a poster of Jiyongie!!! ♡_♡ HAHAHA

The cafe is called The Mind Cafe and when we step inside, we can see like 2 shelves filled with all kinds of board games and card games which like 95% of them I've never seen before (well partially because I hardly play those games la :x) It's like a normal cafe where you can order drinks and food but you can also spend time with friends/family trying out the various games that they provide as well. It's $2 per hour (but I don't know if it's just a week day thing). HX and Sarah each ordered a Iced Mocha and Iced Latte respectively.

We were spoiled for choices actually looking at the amount of games available. We couldn't choose those that were fo ages 10+ and above because we don't understand the instructions at all HAHAHA too complicated man. We could only find those for ages 8 and below HAHAHA DON'T JUDGE. We started with the standard board game of Monopoly but the dog edition. Omg it looks daamnnn cute ♡

We played this game for damn long, for almost 2hours sia hahha. HX and I kept having our 'wallets' being cleared while Sarah kept earning money omg. And she bought so many houses and the rents are as high as $550 or $900 sia sobs. I rather stay in jail than continue with the game hahaha. OH AND I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO BUYING THE SIBERIAN HUSKY AND WHEN I FINALLY LANDED ON THAT TILE, WE REALISED THAT THE CARD WAS LOST SIA :CC WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME SOBS

After Monopoly, we took Blockus (?) to play. It reminds me of Tetris and the translucent, crystal-like pieces look sho pretty ♡ I died on the first try because I didn't know that I could be trapped, I was just focused on trying to fit everything in hahaa. Afterwards, Sarah and I started attacking HX back ahhaha. #win

Our last game was Ugly Dolls (which became a really violent game when played with the class in the SL hahha) since Sarah didn't play with us the other time. But omg she's damn good at this game!! Her reflexes damn fast sia and no joke, she and Kailin can PK in terms of agressiveness hahahah. Sarah kept getting more and more cards after every round; I'm directly the opposite, the number of cards I manage to snatch kept decreasing until I only got 6 cards at the last round LOL)

In total, we spend 3hours there and I think we will go back again next time to try the other games :D Today was a good day spent out with them hehe (missed Mer though and ahahha her snaps are so funny and sad at the same time lmao) Looking forward to the next outing with 3 of them ie Karoake sess!!! hehe okie bye!!!

Post-OP celeb

So yeap, here's the post-OP part of the day!!!


Our half-half PW group went to the school field to try to take those typical-aerial-view-of-people-lying-down-on-the-field photos but apparently J didn't understand so we had to retake a few times to finally (kind of) get it.

We then went to change our clothes before we make our way to NEX for lunch. But we had to shake off J omg he 不请自来 sia (wants to tag along without being invited). We (the girls) came out of the toilet and saw J and HX, we were like "shittt" and faster ran off (my idea LOL and I slipped as I tried to suddenly change lane to run behind the wall hahah damn funny I swear). And yea we left HX with J there oops :x But HX came up with an excuse to come find us afterwards haha. I feel damn bad la but omg I really don't want him to tag along T-T

We reached NEX and our initial lunch choice (18Chefs) had to wait for some time so we went to Hot Tomato instead. I was looking forward to the cheesy baked rice actually but I was ok with Hot Tomato also la. But omg bad decision... Bought the Chicken and Sausage Marinara and it was damn bad like it was tasteless even after I spammed pepper... the chicken was kinda tough also omg... a waste of my $9.50 sia (at least the Lime Juice was ok lol but 18Chefs was $6.90 and it could have been satisfying :c I didn't even finish the pasta).

We proceeded to watch Our Times wooo!!! Our objective of the day was to get HX to cry actually because friends all say it's sad. (we failed la hahahh) Ended up Mer and I were the ones crying lmao (Okay I only teared la but almost flow out) IT'S DAMN NICE LA FRIENDS SOBS OMG MY HEART FELT DAMN SAD. I want a Tsu Tai Yu also please!!!!! ;__;

We came out of the theatre with Sarah and HX kind of laughing at us XDD Oh ya when we (girls) came out of the toilet, suddenly got this guy came out of the arcade telling me that his friend wants my number o_o (I saw a guy running back into the arcade) lol I initially couldn't hear him, I thought he wanted me to help him to take pictures or something. Don't worry friends, I said no haha I do remember to not disclose personal info to strangers. (It's kind of strange aahha)

We had NO CLUE of what to do next but didn't want to go home so we went to get the Starbucks 1-for-1 and omg I still can't believe that we got 4 cups, 1 flavour each. (IT'S VENTI-SIZED FRIENDS HAHHA)

We went up to the root-top garden area and passed around the 4 flavours to try hahah like merri-go-round. PM tastes like peppermint choc to me yumz but too much for me to finish, TN tastes like.... toffee and nuts aahha, I don't even know how to describe what CPF tastes like._. ,both Mer and I couldn't stand the Gingerbread one bleh. Ended up, HX took the CPF; Sarah took the G; Mer took the TN and I took the PM. Mer thinks TN tastes like medicine afterwards ahahahha lesson learnt: don't buy all 4 flavours at such a large size and finish it alone lmao. We sat there, took a few selfies, chatted until 5.59pm which is considered by Mer as 5+ hahaaha XD

Thankful for yall hehe, had much fun and laughter today as well as other days together in school :33 ♡♡ Gonna go out for dimsum with Sarah and HX tmr (without Mer :ccc )

okk I think I should go sleep now, since I wanna wake up to jog (LIKE A FINALLY???? please let me have the resilience to pull myself out to run :c) but I'm feeling pretty damn awake sia .__. Isit because I drank too much coffee today :x Nights!!

D-Day: OP day

Omg, my last post was in August ._. Oops ahaha sorry, I was too lazy and busy (standard excuses). But seriously though, finally got the time to sit down and type after Final Exams and PW ended :{ Okay I shall get to the main point of this post hahha.

Woke up feeling nervous and the first thing I mumbled to myself upon opening my eyes was "alternative confidant" (that's part of a line in my script and I couldn't pronounce 'confidant' properly :c I still can't believe that it's pronounced as CON FEE DANT so weird :c ). Then I went to wash up, had breakfast etc, reached school and shit because I had coffee (and i think that's TMI but let's move on). Everyone gathered in the LT, orderly collected our name tags and moved off to our venues respectively. Up till there I was feeling jittery and slightly worried about forgetting my lines but overall still coping relatively well. 

That didn't last though. When the first group begin presenting, I started getting really, really, really nervous. And that was bad, it made me forget my lines causing me to panic even more. I was legit just at the corner having an internal panic attack (if that made sense). Deep breathing and smiling actually helped me to calm down like legit. And thank god that we're not the last group to present if not I'll prolly just gonna die from nervousness.

Finally it's our turn. We were supposed to do a short skit to kick start our presentation but apparently we haven't start yet but I went ahead and then I realised we haven't start. I had to laugh at myself which calmed my nerves kind of haha. My turn came and went quickly actually now that I realised, and I forgot a few lines but fortunately I didn't freeze there phew. I kind of feel glad that I'm in charge of Ami because the teachers and the audience found the bear really cute haha. Oh and it 's really comforting when the student audience nods to what the speaker is saying, it kind of helps the speaker calm down (aka me). Thanks to the S01 girl!!! ^_^

For Q&A, I'm really damn heng ah because the question that was posed to me was something that we had thought of and crafted an answer for. Hopefully, I answered it well. :/ OHYA I WAS ANNOYED THAT THE TEACHER PRONOUNCED AMI TO AMY HMPHH

What was left was just to listen to the last group present and we could leaveeeeeee. I kind of really liked the third's group's third strategy actually!! I hope it'll be implemented in real life actually haha. During their Q&A, a really difficult question was asked to one of the guys and all of us are literally "wts what kind of question is that?? Good luck bruh". But imo, the guy answered really well so good for him!!! :DD 

WEEEEE OP is finally over!!! But we didn't actually feel much la haha we just went to the typical-background-that-looks-nice-on-insta wall to take some group pictures. I suggested doing a video showing us tearing our name tags off our shirts and Jed failed so damn badly I cannot HAHAHA first time seeing someone tearing off name tag also can fail XDD 

To SA088: 

From the very beginning when we got to know the members of this group, I already expected that we won't become close and have those long-ass dedi post on insta like our seniors. And I was right haha, We didn't have the smoothest journey and we only started getting our shit together 1 week before WR, cramming and OT-ing to compile stuff into WR. That is the first time I actually see us working hard for PW lmao haha. I'm still really surprised at how we could increase a WR that has only 20+ pages of only words to one that has 80 pages with shit loads of pictures (with substantial words) in just a week haha. Good job to us during that period!! Also really glad that we decided to do the booth and although both CK and I had to spend long long hours on that shit, it turned out quite decent and I really hoped that it impressed the teachers!! Overall thanks for the experience!! 

To Mer:

Thank god there's you in the group man. You really did a lot for the group: video-making, compiling stuff, allocating roles, shopping for supplies for the booth and finding that awesome lamp etc. You're the real MVP :)) 

Now, we're just left with I&R final and GPF and we're officially done with this shit. (Please don't pick us for the re-presentation for filming omg I don't want to go through all that again). Let's pray for at least a B grade? hahaha

The Jubilee Year; Singapore's 50th

First of all, happy birthday SG!

Kick start the day with a morning jog and i was pleasantly surprised to see that there was quite a number of people exercising and most were the elderly :oo I greatly respect them for bothering to stay healthy and fit even in their senior years wooo.

Just finished watching PM LHL's speech about his father, SG and Singaporeans. Indeed, SG has came a long way, as they typically say, from the kampong to the prosperous city it is now. As much as i have a lot to complain about SG on a daily basis, recently i began to be more appreciative of what SG has offered its citizens: a relatively clean and safe country, prosperous and increasingly well-known globally (thats why I'm able to go for BB concert ♡), a quite religiously and racially harmonious society and fair education and employment opportunities (I believe so??). Sometimes I'm very glad to be born in SG 'cause of all this.

I'm pretty sad that Mr LKY is unable to witness the 50th year of SG that he so carefully and painstakingly built up. I don't know how his policies might have caused some of the seniors to suffer but from what I'm seeing (from a humble perspective of mine), I really think that he really had worked hard for SG.

Still remembered the time I went to queue the entire night and going nearly a day without sleep to pay respects to him. (Wanted to blog about it that time but never got to it LOL) Seeing most Singaporeans being caring towards one another and persevering to pay respects to Mr LKY was really heartwarming. Also, those who braved the rain to see his last journey were really admirable. Anyways, when I finally got in to see him, I felt a surge of sadness for that few seconds as I bowed down. Really regret not bowing longer 'cause I really obediently followed their instructions lol...

Sigh, if only he could get to witness the 50th year :( This year's NDP is gonna be really epic. Sian and I have to spend today doing pw -_- ahhhh okok I've spent enough time resting, need to go study liao. Byeee.

mummy prolly won't see this but I am really so damn grateful for her even tho i will often throw tantrums and shit. this time she spent so much effort and money on me sobs. she cooked a whole dinner for everyone cuz i said i wanted to celebrate at ying's house. And she was supposed to work on sat but since it's my bday, she decided not to but have to work on sun instead :( she also treated me to BIGBANG concert CRIES mummy i really love you okie <33333

Gabby's bday celebration!!!

So yesterday after dance, I had to attend Gabby's surprise bday party!! Joshua, Trevor and I went to have lunch at the kopitiam before the mrt station. omg we were starving??? 

(BUT SIAN I PLACED MY WALLET ON THE TRAY BUT THE TRAY WAS OILY AND MY WALLET WAS OILY EEWWW) 

We then took the train to Serangoon and while Joshua and I were deciding on where we ( or I) should go, Trevor went home first. I decided to just go NEX with Joshua first while he waits for his friend to reach NEX. We went to change first cuz I was literally sweating buckets during dance. 

(the dance studio was under repair so we had to dance outside the GO which was super duper hot T.T) 

We went to the food court to study for a while before I left to meet my other OG mates at Braddell at 3pm. I was late for like 7mins cuz I underestimated the time to get there :x But I only saw Kaiming but no Isaac who claimed he reached. Yall know what? He alighted at Bishan and thought that was Braddell XDD the joke of the day hahha fmll. 

KM then brought us to the condo to meet up with Shalyn. We had to wait till 3.45pm then we could go into the function room. Initially the room was hot af then it got cold af wts ;____; We kind of decorated the place up then studied while waiting for the rest to come. Everyone else = Gabby's pri sch mates, sec sch mates, pw mates, classmates and hweeling and gabby himself. 

When Gabby finally came, he was blindfolded and we led him to the poolside. We were like at a loss of what to do cuz we didn't really planned this out so Gwong just went out and pushed Gabby into the pool XDD hahaah happy birthday :bbb  Finally it's time to eat. Shalyn ordered pizza (14boxes omg but they're the 6 slices kind la but since we're feeding a huge number of guys ya ) and y'know what, at the party there were only 3 of us girls with a whole lot of guys ..... kind of awkward but nvm we just kind of stuck to our own group of friends. Ohya Constanza came to the party too!! ^^ 

 Then comes the cake part!! Sang the song for him, cut the cake blablabla. The cake was nicee but I felt really fat that night cuz I ate 3 slices of pizza and then 1 slice of choc cake (rmb I had a really filling lunch on Sunday if you read the previous blog post) We just chilled there while I wait for my phone to finish downloading the update. IT STARTED FROM 4PM TILL 9.30 PM SIA SIAN BUT YAY OMG I FINALLY GOT MY LOLLIPOP VERS HEHE DAMN HAPPYYY 

Before we left we took solo shots with Gabby and at that time I guess the bees/hornets decided it's their time to party lol there was a lot of them on the floor ;__; We quickly fled the place (no la not just cuz of the bees, it was kind of late ler and I was scared I will miss the last bus) Took the mrt with Alan, Gwong and Joshua back home and ahha Joshua and Gwong stayed at the same area XDD

It was quite an enjoyable party I guess and Shalyn good job in planning everything and inviting Gabby's friends and having to fork out from her own pocket for everything else :// She did a lot for Gabby and I hope everything will be smooth sailing for them ^^ 

Also, I was pretty happy that I was able to chat more with Joshua? I'm the kind that's easily contented when I get to chat more with my new friends/classmates etc so ya haha. Sometimes we click like yesterday but sometimes we don't talk? haha oops hopefully we can talk more andandand I hope I'll be able to get along well with the rest of the dancers for the rest of our time together in the club ^_^
