Gabby's bday celebration!!!

So yesterday after dance, I had to attend Gabby's surprise bday party!! Joshua, Trevor and I went to have lunch at the kopitiam before the mrt station. omg we were starving??? 

(BUT SIAN I PLACED MY WALLET ON THE TRAY BUT THE TRAY WAS OILY AND MY WALLET WAS OILY EEWWW) 

We then took the train to Serangoon and while Joshua and I were deciding on where we ( or I) should go, Trevor went home first. I decided to just go NEX with Joshua first while he waits for his friend to reach NEX. We went to change first cuz I was literally sweating buckets during dance. 

(the dance studio was under repair so we had to dance outside the GO which was super duper hot T.T) 

We went to the food court to study for a while before I left to meet my other OG mates at Braddell at 3pm. I was late for like 7mins cuz I underestimated the time to get there :x But I only saw Kaiming but no Isaac who claimed he reached. Yall know what? He alighted at Bishan and thought that was Braddell XDD the joke of the day hahha fmll. 

KM then brought us to the condo to meet up with Shalyn. We had to wait till 3.45pm then we could go into the function room. Initially the room was hot af then it got cold af wts ;____; We kind of decorated the place up then studied while waiting for the rest to come. Everyone else = Gabby's pri sch mates, sec sch mates, pw mates, classmates and hweeling and gabby himself. 

When Gabby finally came, he was blindfolded and we led him to the poolside. We were like at a loss of what to do cuz we didn't really planned this out so Gwong just went out and pushed Gabby into the pool XDD hahaah happy birthday :bbb  Finally it's time to eat. Shalyn ordered pizza (14boxes omg but they're the 6 slices kind la but since we're feeding a huge number of guys ya ) and y'know what, at the party there were only 3 of us girls with a whole lot of guys ..... kind of awkward but nvm we just kind of stuck to our own group of friends. Ohya Constanza came to the party too!! ^^ 

 Then comes the cake part!! Sang the song for him, cut the cake blablabla. The cake was nicee but I felt really fat that night cuz I ate 3 slices of pizza and then 1 slice of choc cake (rmb I had a really filling lunch on Sunday if you read the previous blog post) We just chilled there while I wait for my phone to finish downloading the update. IT STARTED FROM 4PM TILL 9.30 PM SIA SIAN BUT YAY OMG I FINALLY GOT MY LOLLIPOP VERS HEHE DAMN HAPPYYY 

Before we left we took solo shots with Gabby and at that time I guess the bees/hornets decided it's their time to party lol there was a lot of them on the floor ;__; We quickly fled the place (no la not just cuz of the bees, it was kind of late ler and I was scared I will miss the last bus) Took the mrt with Alan, Gwong and Joshua back home and ahha Joshua and Gwong stayed at the same area XDD

It was quite an enjoyable party I guess and Shalyn good job in planning everything and inviting Gabby's friends and having to fork out from her own pocket for everything else :// She did a lot for Gabby and I hope everything will be smooth sailing for them ^^ 

Also, I was pretty happy that I was able to chat more with Joshua? I'm the kind that's easily contented when I get to chat more with my new friends/classmates etc so ya haha. Sometimes we click like yesterday but sometimes we don't talk? haha oops hopefully we can talk more andandand I hope I'll be able to get along well with the rest of the dancers for the rest of our time together in the club ^_^ 

OKAY OMG IM SUPPOSED TO STUDY AND I SPENT LIKE AN HOUR PLUS PLUS TYPING 3 POSTS OUT LOL hope yall enjoyed reading (if anyone is reading) okok byeee

Suddenly felt like blogging so here I am hahah

DANCE WOO

So on Saturday, the buiz minus del had a kind of impromptu outing to attend Studio Wu's open house free dance classes!! I was supposed to go jog with nik la but it was soooo tempting cuz it's a rare chance soo I had to cancel the jog :b On that morning I met with ster at mac to study for awhile before meeting with pua. But guess who overslept -_____- thanks to burden pua pfft hhah we made like 20+ calls to her and she was still sleeping like a log XD ohwell heng she woke up tho she was late but never mind. Wasted quite some time and got there behind schedule. 

We went to Bugis Cube to register ourselves for the classes first before we went back to Bugis Junction to eat. Pua's friend reached at that time so she had to bring her to register while ster and I went to buy bread from Four Leaves for lunch since dance was gonna start in like 40mins. There was actually quite a number of people who came for the classes and it was like an eye-opening experience for me I feel. The 3 of us buiz, and 2 of pua's friends joined 2 classes together.

Our 1st class was Girls' Style.

We did some simple warmups and moves that we will be using in the dance. We learnt the 30secs choreo in an hour which also included us taking turns in groups dancing the choreo. It was really fast when the music played and my mind just blanked out when it started. I don't know how but it's just like I just relied on my body to do the dance cuz my mind was totally blank like I wasn't really thinking of what the next step was O-O it was really really fun tho!!! ANDAND THE INSTRUCTOR TEACHING US WAS LIKE WOAH SWAG MUCH LIKE REALLY WOO 

Our 2nd class was Street Jazz.

The first thing I noticed was the instructor's colourful hair O.O it's pretty nice and wow she could pull it off haha. Similarly, we did light warmups (but we were already v warmed from the prev session hahaa cuz the classes were one after another) and some moves that we used in the dance. When she taught the choreo I felt kind of out of place? Like I was thinking... hmm I think I don't suit jazz style. But as we learnt it got better la not so awkward feeling. There were some moves that reminded me of the jazz workshop during dance camp last year (omg i miss those times). Also we got to dance in groups and it was abit paiseh for me but at the same time got that adrenaline rush super shiok!!! Pua's seniors took video of this dance (video is on my instagram but...I realise it's private so :bb) And this class there was some guys dancing also and wowww in my group there was this guy in black shirt and orange sleeves who danced with great sass O-O like really!! Got another guy in black shirt in pua's group wah he quite cute siaa :bb plus dance not bad la hehe

Overall, I felt like it was a really good experience for me ah cuz I don't really get a chance to do this type of dance genre so ya I'm really glad that I went and thanks a lot to pua for the jio :* it was somehow a good gathering with them too hehe love them
